Le matériel et l'environnement dédié a été prototypés. Les éditeurs de presse ayant abandonné le projet 18 mois après, des efforts ont été réalisés dans la Recherche & Développement. NetDevices a réorienté son activité vers la prestation de service, tout en continuant à investir en R&D avec la naissance des solutions Web2Mobile et Sharry.
